HR Administrator

NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE (Ref 775 ) PERMANENT

£24,500 – £29,00 depending on experience

Our client is a professional services business, with a strong reputation. Reporting to the Head of People (who is fantastic), the HR Administrator is central to ensuring a seamless employee experience, from onboarding through to day-to-day HR administration.

What you will be doing

  • Support the full employee lifecycle from onboarding and induction through to leaver administration
  • Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data in line with GDPR and internal policies
  • Coordinate recruitment administration, including interview scheduling, candidate tracking and feedback
  • Track key lifecycle dates such as probation reviews, benefit milestones and contract changes
  • Support absence, training and employee relations administration, producing regular reports as required
  • Administer employee benefits, recognition activity and internal communications
  • Respond to employee queries, escalating where appropriate

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience as an HR Administrator
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • A professional and discreet approach to handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Confident working with HR systems (HRIS) and standard office software
  • Working knowledge of GDPR requirements
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, approachable manner
