£40k – 50k + Private Medical Insurance + additional excellent benefits.

We are delighted to partner with our client, a purpose and technology led design and manufacturing business.  As the company grows, there is now an opportunity for a talented and experienced HR Business Partner to join in this newly created role.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will play a crucial part in the organisational development process by managing employee relations, recruitment, talent development and engagement.  Success will result from developing effective, engaging and proactive working partnerships with line managers.

What’s involved:

  • Partner with business leaders to identify talent needs and develop comprehensive talent management strategies
  • Lead the design and implementation of talent development programs to build leadership capability, enhance employee engagement, and drive performance
  • Facilitate succession planning and career development initiatives
  • Lead on, or support the Head of HR on a range of HR projects including wellbeing and salary reviews
  • Provide strategic HR guidance and support to drive alignment between business goals and HR initiatives
  • Advise and coach managers to effectively manage all employee relations issues
  • Prepare reports and analysis on metrics, trends, and outcomes for management review
  • Provide an end-to-end recruitment including supporting job design, advert design and placement, facilitating selection processes and appointment decisions
  • Support leaders in managing employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management meetings
  • Develop and provide effective health and wellbeing support and resources
  • Deputising for the Head of HR as necessary
  • Guide and mentor an HR Assistant

Skills & Experience needed:

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant field
  • CIPD (preferred but not essential)
  • HRIS knowledge would be great!
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects and conflicting priorities
  • Approachable, pragmatic, and resilient with a high level of initiative
