HR Administrator

DARLINGTON (Ref 691)   temporary until end August 2025 with a permanent role available

up to £30k + 32 days holiday + banks + excellent pension (pro rata )

 

As our client continues to build their People team, there is an opportunity for an HR Administrator to join the newly appointed Director of People & Culture, on an interim basis initially, although the budget does allow for a permanent appointment.  The Director of People will spend the coming months determining the role content on a permanent basis, which may differ slightly.

 

Key responsibilities and focus of role:

  • Combination of administrative support and project support work
  • Admin support for activities such as recruitment and absence; also as a development opportunity will be able to shadow People Partners in ER case meetings 
  • Project support work will include being involved in:
    • process mapping and redesign to streamline and digitalise HR processes 
    • redesign and roll-out of corporate induction
    • developing and publicising employee benefits 
    • review of HR systems 

Experience required:

  • Experienced HR Administrator or HR Assistant 
  • Attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills
  • Maintains confidentiality
