HR Advisor

TYNE & WEAR (Ref 694) 12  month FTC maternity cover

£30k – £34k,  35 days holiday + bank holidays!  Excellent pension + benefits platform

We are looking for a professional, pragmatic, and solution-focused HR Advisor to support the business and ensure best practices in people management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a solutions-focused employee relations service that aligns with the Values and People Plan
  • Support managers in conducting investigations and first formal hearings
  • Offer advice and support on contractual issue
  • Build and manage proactive working relationships with recognized Trade Unions
  • Assist the People Business Partner in restructures and change management initiatives
  • Develop and support line managers in handling employee relations, performance management, attendance management, and employee engagement
  • Utilise the employee relations systems and processes for efficient reporting, monitoring, and management of casework
  • Advise and support managers in recruitment processes
  • Produce reports and management information
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Deliver HR-related training activities

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in an HR advisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and case law.
  • CIPD level 5 
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in employee relations, performance management, and change management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and data analytics.
