HR Officer

Our client is a fast growing engineering manufacturing business, and part of hugely successful global group.  As a result of continued growth, the HR team is expanding with this newly created role of HR Officer.

Working in a small team, you will support the HR Manager by providing advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures. 

This will include:

  • Handling first stage employee relations cases for disciplinaries, absence and grievances
  • Manage overall investigation process as a project
  • Monitor absence trigger points and escalate if required 
  • Involved in probation reviews 
  • Ensure Return to Work meetings take place

For these elements of there role, training is provided

  • Creation and end-to-end management of relocation and immigration processes and procedures
  • Coordinate visa and work permit applications, tax, housing, and other relocation services for employees
  • Support overseas relocating employees in sourcing suitable accommodation options and ensure a trouble-free transition to the UK

Skills and qualifications you will need:

  • CIPD level 3 minimum and ideally CIPD level 5
  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering sectors ideally
  • Can do approach
  • Proactive and pragmatic approach
  • Ideally some knowledge of UK Immigration laws
