Looking to lead a Talent Acquisition team and shape the future direction of Talent Acquisition for a growing company? This is a fabulous opportunity to utilise all of your experience and creative flair to deliver a fantastic service and experience.
As a member of the senior People team you will:
- Review the current offering from the Resourcing department and make relevant improvements to ensure a professional service is delivered
- Lead the Talent team, support individual development and ensure a great team approach
- Ensure a first class candidate experience, regardless of the outcome
- Create a talent pipeline
- Ensure EDI initiatives are adhered to
- Review and improve onboarding
- Review and enhance the selection processes
- Lead the implementation of appropriate applicant tracking and onboarding systems to ensure an excellent candidate journey and manager experience
- Maximise the potential of technology and social media to ensure a digital first approach, managing website content for the Resourcing function
- Utilise reporting to enable evidence based decisions about hiring and retaining talent
- Personally facilitate appointments to senior posts
- Responsible for search activity/’headhunting’ for specialist roles
- Manage recruitment agency relationships
- Oversee graduate and volume recruitment events
- Manage volume resourcing
- Ensure recruitment is delivered within KPI timeframes
- Ensure new starters are legally compliant.
- Provide resourcing plans and strategies for hard to fill roles
- Create effective attraction campaigns for specific roles
Your background
- Strong track record of leading and delivering resourcing in a fast paced and growing organisation
- Experience of leading and delivering volume recruitment campaigns
- Experience of designing resourcing strategies for hard to fill or specialist roles
- Experience of the design and delivery of innovative and forward-thinking resourcing practices.
- Understanding of relevant legislation and its impact upon recruitment & resourcing approaches
- Experience of utilising appropriate psychometrics for resourcing
- Tenacity and resilience to ensure hard to recruit for positions are filled
- Analytical and reporting skills – the ability to build and analyse resourcing data and reports to enable data based decision making
- Change management experience – ability to deliver change in a resourcing environment
- Stakeholder management skills – gravitas and credibility to work effectively and constructively with stakeholders at all levels and with external stakeholders
- Leadership skills – ability to lead and motivate direct reports and wider people team
- Excellent Microsoft office skills
- Experience with technology based applicant tracking and other recruitment systems
- Project management skills – experience of project managing end to end resourcing campaigns
- Good commercial mindset – understands importance of business delivery
- Ability to challenge appropriately
- Excellent team player
